Theater on the Ridge

“All the world’s a stage…” Why not Ridgeville Park? We celebrated the bard's greatest comedies and tragedies for ten years at Ridgeville Park, and now we’re thrilled to add some new theater styles to the Ridge. These performances are FREE. Pack a picnic and head on over to the park to enjoy these family-friendly productions.

Concerts on the Ridge

Concerts on the Ridge features a variety of music and styles, suitable for the whole family. Wednesday evenings at Ridgeville Park—Join us for hot eats and cool beats. Check our Facebook page for concert guests and updates.

Starlight Concert & Movie Series

Ridgeville Park District is happy to host The City of Evanton’s Starlight Concert & Movie series in the summer. Concerts and movies begin at 7 p.m., unless noted otherwise in the schedule below. In the event of rain, concerts will be canceled. The decision to cancel will be made by 4:30 p.m. on the show date. Please check the City’s Facebook page or contact 311 by calling/texting 847-448-4311 (until 6 p.m.). Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets and snacks. Food trucks will be available at select concerts, noted below.

Ridgeville Band Summer Concert

As part of the Ridgeville Band of Evanston’s annual concert season, they play a summer concert at Ridgeville Park. Everyone‘s invited to the performance followed by a picnic. Please bring your own chair.

The Ridgeville Band invites you to play with us. Calling all woodwind, brass and percussion players. The members of the Ridgeville Band are a group of about 35 music lovers with a wide range of life experience, from high school students to retirees. The band includes teachers, lawyers, graphic designers, doctors, salespeople, social workers, computer programmers and students. Some members have played only in high-school or college; others have played with professional music groups. The one thing in common: a shared passion for playing band music in an easy-going, fun and supportive environment.
