Ridgeville Park District's Mission Statement:
To enhance the quality of life, promote a strong sense of community and contribute to the social and economic
health of its citizens by providing safe, attractive parks and a diverse, challenging set of cultural and recreational programs.
The PARK DISTRICT is a GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY established in 1939 for the purpose of providing
parks, facilities and recreation programs for the community. The Park District is governed by five elected commissioners
who set policy for the operation of the Park District. Regular park Board Meetings are held on the second Thursday of
each month at 7:45 p.m. in the Community House, 908 Seward Street, Evanston, Illinois. Residents are invited to attend.
