Youth Classes

Knifty Knitters

Session 2: 8 classes

March 17 - May 12

No Class March 31st.

Instructor: Barbara Smith

Ages: 7 and up

Day/Time: Mon  4:00-4:45 pm

Fees: RPD Residents $90 Non-Residents $98

Want to learn a craft that people have practiced for almost 1000 years? Learn how to make scarves, blankets, puppets, beanbags, book marks and more! All you need are your ideas and a little patience. Yarn and needles are included in the class fee.

New! 3D Multimedia Exploration

8 classes March 11 - May 6

No class April 1

Instructior: Paula Wendland

Ages: 7 and up

Day/Time: Tues. 4:30-5:30pm

Fees: RPD Residents $90

No-Residents $98

 Sutdents will create a variety of 3-dimensional objects from dinosaurs to robots using clasy, model magic, and a variety of "found" objects.  Later in the session students will make Shadowboxes with paper and babric, and make and decorate a Polymer Clay Dream Box.  All materials included.

 

 

 

All fees should be paid with a check or money order made out to Ridgeville Park District.  Sorry but at this time we do not accept credit cards.

The Ridgeville Evanston Community Band
Is a community based band seeking new musicians of all ages.  If you play an instrumIent and are interested call 847/475-5395 or go to the band's web site www.ridgevilleband.org  Try it you may like it!  They say music is the language of the heart so here is a way to communicate and at the same time lighten your load as you trudge through life's daily ups and downs.
