  • Youth In The Parks Program is a free drop-in program available in Elks, Reba, and Brummel parks.  This is not a free babysitting service so please make sure your child/children are old enough to be in the park without parental supervision.  Your child must be able to get home in case of inclement weather.  YIPP offers free recreational activities to neighborhood kids, such as organized sports, games, and cultural events.  Counselors are placed in the parks from 1-9 p.m. throughout the summer (June 15 - August 21).  WEATHER PERMITTING!
  •
  • In addition to daily games, activities, look for sports clinics, double-dutch competition,  Hip-Hop Workshop, BBQ's.  All participants will be assigned to age appropriate teams or groups.  YIPP is celebrating over 10 years of youth in the parks programming!

Thought For The Day:
If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything!

"Follow us on Twitter to receive instant updates about camp openings and new classes offered year round"

Thought for Today: Correction does much but encouragement does more.  Try to catch others (especially children) doing things right and let them know it immediately!

TO HELP BUILD SELF ESTEEM ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO DO ESTEEMABLE THINGS.
