Creative Arts Camp

In this fun-filled camp, children engage in arts and crafts projects, drama, music,
and dance, while also making time for games, sports, and other traditional camp
activities. The camp will be shaped by the interests and abilities of all camp participants to ensure that a wide range of projects emerge throughout the summer.
Projects might include everything from comic book making to collaborative painting
& sculpture. In addition to the daily activity schedule, the camp will also feature guest
artists, who will lead workshops or share performances during each session.
The camp will culminate with an Open House that will be held at the end of each
session. The event gives parents, friends, and neighbors the opportunity to meet
instructors and staff, visit the art gallery, and watch each child display his or her
special talents at a live performance.
Please note that this camp is designed to stress the process of art making, rather
than the final product or performance. Emphasis will be placed on noncompetitive
arts activities that allow for positive social interactions and personal growth for
every camper.
